The following matters need to be paid attention to during the trial operation of the slurry pump:

1.The on-site operator should operateaccording to specifications. During the trial operation, non-standard operations such as pump down and overloading can easily cause breakdown of the equipment.

2.If the outlet pressure is too low than the rated pressure or the pressure fluctuates, long-time running is not allowed.

3.Please pay attention to the fluctuation of load during the trial operation. Due to the difference in the specific gravity of oil and water, it is easy to overload the pump and damage the motor.

4.When the motor working current the slurry pump exceeds the rated value, the pump is not allowed to run for a long time.

5.After the trial operation of the slurry pump, drain the pump cavity and pipeline to prevent the them from freezing and cracking.

6.Stop the pump immediately if following situations happen:

1) The motor is smoking or on fire.

2) The motor temperature exceeds the specified temperature and cannot be handled.

3) Motor working current exceeds rated current and cannot be reduced.

4) Slurry pump is evacuated.

5) The mechanical seal of the slurry pump leaks seriously, and it cannot be handled.

6) It is strictly forbidden to reverse the motorand pump. After starting, the pump is strictly prohibited from running continuously for a long time with the inlet and outlet valves closed. The outlet flow can only be adjusted by the pump outlet valve, and it can’t be adjusted by inlet valve.
