1. Before starting each pump, we need turn the turning gear 2 to 3 laps by hand. Make sure that engine has not seized up.
2. During the operation of starting pump and switch over of pump, we must strictly abide by the respective technical operation regulations, and start and stop the equipment in the specified orders.
3. Check and tighten the packing. When using tools, we must strictly abide by relevant regulations.
4. If there is a cover shell on the pump sump, the cover shell should be kept in place. There are observation holes or other holes on the top plate of the pump sump, which can be temporarily opened only when observing or using, and must be covered at ordinary times.
5. It is strictly forbidden for a single person to go to the sluice behind each pump station to engage in any inspection work. It is strictly forbidden to stand on the edge of the sluice and engage in any work.
6. Those who are in charge of emergency pumps must strictly abide by the “Safety Operation Regulations of Emergency Pumps”.
7. The handrail around the emergency pool must be kept intact. It is necessary to stop non-staffs, especially children, from approaching the emergency pool.
8. The pumpman of the pump station is also responsible for the safe operation of the tailings sluice on the cable bridge. The number of people passing on the cable bridge should not exceed 10. When dredging the sluice, avoid the periodic operation of many people, so as to avert resonance.
